Lower Amazon Community Center

In 2019, Seeds of Life International had the privilege of distributing funds of the purchase of land and eventual construction of a community center in Curionopolis, Brazil.

According to a 2015 study released by the World Health Organization, children newborn to five years of age are at extreme risk in under developed countries. In fact, ELEVEN children five and under die every minute due to poverty related issues. 

 

All donations are used to purchase emergency food supplies for families with children newborn to 5 years of age living in the Lower Amazon Basin of Brazil. 

 

Last year, we raised over $5000.00 through individual donations. We continue to draw money for this campaign as this is a great way for anyone to get involved. We’ve made it easy. You can donate any amount, but we are specifically targeting small donations of $10 to $50. This allows anyone to make a difference for one person, one family, and one community.

We have the privilege of working with local outreaches in the small town of Curionopolis and the village of Serra Pelada. Our supporters have raised funds to build homes, refurbish existing homes, and build a community center. We sustain on-going efforts to aid families who are in desperate need of basic living necessities while striving to end generational poverty by providing an environment for children to succeed in school and in life.
